Iba Airport Campus
Overview of Our Campus
AAA Academy proudly operates its primary training base at Iba Airport, located in Brgy. Lipay Dingin, Zambales, Philippines. Since 2008, this campus has served as the foundation of AAA’s flight training operations.
The location provides access to diverse cross-country flight routes across Northern Luzon—an essential component of professional pilot training.
Unlike other training hubs near Metro Manila, AAA is the only flight school based at Iba Airport with dedicated facilities. This allows students to train in an uncongested environment with minimal delays and consistent flight scheduling.
The result:
More time in the air, more hands-on experience, and a more efficient path toward becoming a professional pilot.
Iba Airport, Zambales, Philippines
Uncongested, low-traffic training airspace
Approximately 900 meters
Quiet coastal setting ideal for focused learning
Dedicated training base with minimal commercial traffic

Why Choose Iba Airport?
Compared to more congested and commercially active training airports, Iba Airport offers a focused environment where training efficiency and safety take priority.
Instead of operating within busy airspace and urban conditions, students train in a quieter, dedicated setting designed to support consistent flight operations and effective learning.
AAA Academy selected Iba Airport to create a training environment where students can concentrate fully on their development—with fewer delays, fewer distractions, and more actual flying time.
Below are the key reasons why Iba Airport has remained AAA’s dedicated training base since 2008.

Uncongested Airspace for Efficient Training
AAA Academy remains the only flight training institution with its main base and dedicated facilities at Iba Airport. This unique positioning allows the runway and surrounding airspace to be utilized primarily for training operations—resulting in significantly reduced congestion and minimal operational delays.
At many training airports, student pilots encounter extended holding times and delays caused by high traffic volume from multiple operators. These conditions can limit effective flight time and increase overall training costs.
At Iba Airport, these inefficiencies are substantially reduced.
Students benefit from:
- Faster transitions from run-up to takeoff
- Consistent and uninterrupted use of the traffic pattern
- Reduced waiting time for both departure and landing
- Increased productive flight hours
In flight training, every minute in the air directly contributes to skill development—making efficiency a critical factor in overall pilot progression.

Calm Coastal Environment for Focused Learning
The Iba Airport campus is located along the coastline of Zambales, overlooking the West Philippine Sea. Its natural surroundings provide a calm and low-distraction environment that supports focused flight training and study.
Compared to urban-based training locations, students at Iba benefit from:
- A quieter atmosphere with fewer external distractions
- A low-traffic operational environment that supports safer and more consistent flight training
- A balanced setting that allows both effective training and proper rest
Iba, as the provincial capital, also provides access to essential daily services such as supermarkets, banks, medical facilities, and dining options.
This combination of a structured training environment and comfortable living conditions allows students to adapt smoothly and maintain a stable and consistent training pace.

In-House Maintenance for Enhanced Safety
Iba Airport is also home to All Asia Aviation Maintenance, AAA’s in-house Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO), fully certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
All maintenance activities are conducted internally under strict regulatory supervision and standardized procedures.
This ensures that all aircraft used for training are:
- Regularly inspected
- Properly maintained
- Fully prepared for daily operations
Having an in-house AMO allows AAA to maintain consistent safety standards, reduce downtime, and provide a more reliable training environment for students.

International Training Community
Since 2008, AAA Academy has welcomed students from over 50 countries across Asia and other regions worldwide.
This has then created a diverse and multi-cultural environment, within the campus and even the local community in Iba itself. The local community is welcoming and supportive, making it easier for international students to adapt to daily life.
It is to be noted that Iba itself, aside from widely using the Tagalog or Filipino as its main language – English is widely used in the local community, making communication and daily interaction easier for international trainees.
Lastly – Iba, being the Capital of the province has always been proven safe – matching the peaceful environment that surrounds it.
